YOUR TASKS

At our headquarters in Lippstadt, you will be part of the Financial Accounting team and responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, German GAAP (HGB), and tax regulations.

• Performing analyses, evaluations, and account reconciliations, and ensuring the accurate representation of business transactions
• Collaborating with the team on global strategic accounting projects, such as automation, digitalization, and harmonization of business processes within accounting
• Continuously improving accounting processes to ensure reporting quality and supporting their global rollout
• Acting as the central point of contact for internal and external audits
• Supporting the compliance governance structure in Germany
• Driving harmonization, digitalization, and standardization initiatives within Financial Accounting
• Maintaining regular communication and close collaboration with colleagues in Financial Accounting at our international European locations
• Managing accounting-related projects, with a particular focus on centralization topics

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on Accounting
• Several years of relevant professional experience in an industrial company or a major auditing firm
• In-depth knowledge of accounting under German GAAP (HGB), tax law, and IFRS
• Strong proficiency in SAP FI or a comparable ERP system
• Analytical mindset, ability to work independently, team player, and highly committed
• Excellent communication skills, resilience, and assertiveness
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
