As a PCB Layout Designer (m / f / d)  atEmerson, you will join our highly motivated engineering team in developing and supporting high quality products according to exacting engineering standards for demanding customers. You will be actively involved in complex, high-speed interface and high data rate PCB layout designs of leading-edge embedded computer platforms based on x86 with DDR4 respectively DDR5 memory interfaces and other modern processor architectures based on ARM. Based in Augsburg, Bavaria, you will work with local and international design teams to plan schedules and resolve costs.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Development and implementation of the PCB layout design of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
• Close co-operation with other engineering teams on-site and globally during board development
• Active participation in designing reviews, investigating, evaluating and implementing new PCB technologies and processes
• Technical coordination within Engineering, Test and Manufacturing
• Maintenance of tool chain and support of internal engineering Resolve PCB design issues with fabrication and manufacturing vendors
• Proactive participation in the evolution and definition of Design For Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines manufacturing, and electrical design issues
