Our Data Science team enables the company to make data-driven decisions based on complex data. As an important team member, you ll improve our data product landscape by experimenting, deploying and testing innovative ideas to drive our business.

Senior) Data Scientist (m / f / d)

Location : remote, Germany; remote, Spain

Your responsibilities

• Conduct experimentation and prototyping on new initiatives, setting the stage for subsequent Data projects.
• Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models in Python to innovate and enhance processes and products (utilizing tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CatBoost, LightGBM).
• Guide stakeholders through discoveries and discussions in data-related fields.
• Perform complex data analysis and experimentation, providing actionable insights to business stakeholders, including leveraging GenAI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to team methodologies and technical tools.

Your Qualifications

• A master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field, such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or economics.
• Extensive experience in the end-to-end development of Data Science projects, particularly in the eCommerce sector.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and possess strong data science fundamentals, including modeling, data structures, and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of software development and related tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with software development tools and environments (e.g., Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).
• A proactive, problem-solving, and analytical mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
