Your Key Responsibilities

You will be part of the Supply Chain Technology and Digitalization team. The mission is to manage strategic projects and continuous improvement efforts to transform Schaeffler’s global Supply Chain organization to be data and systems-driven, robust, and efficient.

  • Identify business processes that can be digitized and evaluate the improvement potential
  • Address complex supply chain questions with data-driven solutions, e.g., using simulation, analytics, machine learning, optimization models, statistics
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of supply chain management in terms of digitalization, technology and data strategy
  • Bring in your own ideas and implement them to prove their value
  • Closely collaborate with IT and business units
  • Monitor new and innovative methods and technologies in the field of supply chain digitalization
  • Convey complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target audience by means of convincing presentations

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s) degree in business information systems, data science, business mathematics, mathematics, supply chain management, or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge in supply chain management
  • Very good knowledge in object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, R) and in SQL
  • Knowledge of data engineering (ETL pipelines, Big Data tools, REST API, cloud services such as Azure) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP, S4 / Hana, transport management systems is an advantage
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues and drive desired outcomes
  • Enthusiastic team player and passion for optimizing global supply chains
  • Success oriented creative solution finder and hands-on mentality
  • Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
  • 50 % remote work possible
