Responsibilities
At SDA, we are hiring Senior DevOps Engineers to enable DevOps in our teams and operate our production environment – from planning to implementing security and reliability.
- Own the operation and continuous improvement of SDA’s AWS-based production environment, ensuring reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code with strong focus on maintainability and automation.
- Develop and operate robust CI / CD pipelines that enable safe, fast deployments and easy rollbacks across multiple repositories.
- Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives, providing transparency and continuously improving cost efficiency without compromising stability.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes; develop and evolve operational, security, and reliability runbooks.
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes meet defined RTO / RPO objectives.
- Support ongoing ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2 compliance, including control operation, evidence collection, and audit participation.
- Act as a strong partner to development teams, supporting daily operational needs and continuously improving the developer experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with strong information technology focusStrong DevOps experience on AWS leveraging Gitlab CI, Terraform, and SAMExperience in operating production-grade software stacks in the cloudExperience working with scripting languages to automate routine tasksExperience with performance and log analysisStrong sense of ownership, urgency, and driveFluent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with strong information technology focusSite Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience with operating a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution in productionKnowledge of the AWS Well Architected Framework, mainly Operational Excellence, Security and Reliability pillarsKnowledge and hands-on experience with 3rd party SIM and monitoring solutions (Datadog, Splunk, Sumo Logic)Good understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)About us
