Job Description :

As a Brazing Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly process by brazing components to create high-quality products. Working under direct supervision, you will utilize torch or brazing machines and flux to bond workpieces together, ensuring all products meet the highest standards for quality and precision.

Shift Options :

We offer the following shift options to accommodate various schedules :

1st Shift (Weekday) : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

2nd Shift (Weekday) : Monday to Friday, 3 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM

3rd Shift (Weekday) : Sunday to Thursday, 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

1st Shift (Weekend) : Friday to Sunday, 4 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM

2nd Shift (Weekend) : Friday to Sunday, 4 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 AM

  • The shift differential is $0.75 for Weekday and Weekend 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  • Flexibility with shift changes and overtime opportunities may also be available, depending on business needs.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Brazing : Use torch and brazing alloy to join workpieces, guiding the torch and rod along the joint to heat the materials to brazing temperature and create a secure bond.
  • Equipment Setup : Assist with setting up brazing equipment, including selecting the appropriate torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy based on work orders or data charts.
  • Assembly & Fabrication : Perform various assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks as needed to support manufacturing operations.
  • Precision Control : Ensure accurate brazing procedures, following data charts and work orders to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Safety & Maintenance : Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some experience with brazing copper-to-copper (CU / CU) on an assembly line or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Skills :

  • Ability to read and interpret data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders.
  • Basic understanding of brazing techniques and equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of technical instructions, blueprints, and schematics accuracy.
  • Knowledge of test procedures.
  • Developing ability to be able to troubleshoot and solve problems with direct supervision.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Requires precision control and dexterity when operating tools and equipment.
