​Your new role

​​As our new Chief Consultant Operations Readiness, you will be a key player in our dynamic Offshore Wind Advisory team at Ramboll, providing independent consultancy to help clients achieve high-performance assets and fleet optimization. Your expertise will shape and enhance our service deliverables​. ​Within our Operations and Maintenance team, we offer comprehensive wind services throughout the entire project lifecycle – from early planning and O&M to lifetime extension and decommissioning. At Ramboll, we foster a versatile team where each member’s unique skills contribute to our wide array of services​.

​Your key responsibilities will be:

• ​​Develop Client-Centric O&M Strategies by leading trainings and workshops from pre-FID phase onwards to prepare clients for optimal operational readiness.​

• ​​Provide expert advice on aspects that effectively prepare clients for successful O&M takeover and ensure alignment of OEM and Owners Employers Requirements throughout the project lifecycle.​

• ​​Conduct analyses to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities, develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, and provide relevant input and documentation for tenders and bids.

• ​Lead and manage consulting projects focused on operational wind farms and other renewable energy sources, delivering high-level TDD assessments and strategic consulting services.

• ​Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions and recommendations. Mentor junior consultants by sharing expertise in renewable energy and project management. ​

​About you

• ​​Extensive professional experience stems from a relevant previous role, including substantial work with developer O&M teams, operational wind farms, or consultancy roles within the renewable energy sector.​

• ​​Master’s degree in engineering specializing in Onshore/Offshore Wind, Energy Systems, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.​

• ​​Ideally you bring a solid experience in negotiating WTG supply and maintenance agreements, and managing service contracts for offshore wind farms.

• ​Proven track record in optimizing wind farm operations and managing diverse asset portfolios, with strong skills in strategic project leadership.

• ​Strong proficiency in written and spoken English with excellent writing and communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
