Role & Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will :
Manage and Grow Client Relationships : Maintain and expand existing accounts, providing exceptional service and exploring growth opportunities.Drive Client Acquisition : Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the client's portfolio and increase market share in key areas.Lead Offer Preparation : Handle quotations, price calculations, and contract negotiations with clients, shipping companies, partners, and international agents.Develop and Execute Business Strategy : Play a critical role in shaping and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth and strengthen the client's regional presence.What the Client is Looking For :
Experience : Minimum of 4 years in business development, preferably within ocean freight. Experience in break-bulk or oversized cargo handling is beneficial.Education : Background in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related commercial field.Language Skills : Fluent in both German and English.Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Personal Qualities : Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient with a passion for logistics and intercontinental trade.Driver's License : Class B license required.The client looks forward to reviewing your application and discussing how you can become an essential part of their team.
