Job Description
As Finance Business Partner you will be part of our controlling and FP&A department and work with different C-Levels and department heads. You will be creating, maintaining, and driving processes and tools to directly support our decision-making for our technology teams while you will analyze drivers and trends of our business segments, reflect these in short- and long-term financial planning and provide our business owners the insights and guidance they need to successfully steer the company. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an innovative company.
This position is hybrid and requires a minimum of 3 days onsite in Bruchsal.
Your mission during this flight :
- You will be the sparring-partner for C-Level, Directors and department heads (e.g. CTO, COO)
- You will implement automated, scalable and analytical reports to facilitate data driven decision-making across all levels of the organization
- You will be responsible for execution of budget & forecasting process for all functions, including regular performance reviews
- You will be responsible to ensure global system and process maturity, while continuously working on standardization and improvements, technical and procedural
- You will be responsible in maintaining our project structure data in financial systems and project accounting for personnel and other expenses (e.g. capitalization of development expenses)
- You will participate in capacity planning
- You will be working cross functionally the other finance business partners to establish total cost of ownership
- You will support investment and optimization decisions (e.g. make or buy)
- You will contribute to our monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closure
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills :
Particularly strong background in R&D or production controlling is desirable, ideally in aviation, automotive, space tech or biotech industries for 5+ yearsExperience in a fast-paced environment like a start-up or scale up desirable; ideally experience with controlling in a matrix frameworkStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with top and extended leadership team; work cross-functionally effectively with production, product, commercial and certification colleaguesExperience with implementation of modern and digital FP&A department / services based on state-of-the-art technologyHave a minimum IFRS accounting understanding to connect the Financial Statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Equity) and project accountingDegree with a focus on finance, controlling, FP&A, or related fields; MBA, PhD, CMA or CPA are a plusFluent in English, advanced German is desirableAdditional Information
