The Technical & Engineering Division of Randstad Professionals, specialized in the Research and Selection of Middle and Top Management Profiles, research for multinational company leader in the Textile Industry a Product Manager .
Main activities
Reporting to the GROUP PRODUCT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR, the Product Manager will take care of :
- Manage product portfolio workwear segments and ensure profitable growth for the group
- Definition of product positioning, drafting of product briefs, participation in the innovation process with R&D, definition of the range (depth & width) in accordance with targeted cost positioning.
- Collaboration with the CSR & PM team in the sustainable strategic approach to continue in the WORKWEAR range with particular attention to the circularity offer
- Ensure SKU management, participation in the review of sales forecasts with the procurement team (long sheet meeting)
- End-of-life product management and launch of new products - Phasing in / Phasing out.
- Provide clear and updated information in the various product information systems (ERP, website, price list, marketing tools)
- Ensure training and product presentation internally and externally, product-related technical support for the sales team
- Technical and characteristic analysis
- Ensure compliance of products with the standards required by the markets and responsibility for renewal certificates for existing products.
- Participation in the analysis of quality trends with the QC department - proposals for corrective actions.
- Be one of the active team members with the R&D department for the development of the strategic innovation plan for the workwear segment
- A large part of the work will focus on the strategy of circularity and how to develop services offering products related to circularity.
- Part of project management with R&D & Supply Chain to provide solution services to markets.
- Contributing to the creation of a range of workwear for Asia
- Incorporate a Knit offer in the workwear in line with the group’s strategy
- Customer and end user meeting
Requirements :
- Availability to travel on European territory
- Excellent knowledge of English and German languages is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Italian language is a plus
- Bachelor degree in textile engineering or related is a plus
- Analytical mindset with strong social skills
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
