Your Role
You will be responsible for the technical integration of Warehouse Management System with Warehouse Control Systems in an automated warehouse context of a global organization to create technically stable and best-in-class automation solutions for our customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Support, consultancy and guidenance on technical WCS Integration for global warehouse automation in Tender- and Project Phase
- Coordinate the implementation of Interfaces and Communication (HTTPS, TCP / IP, TLS, etc.) between the Warehouse Control System and the Warehouse Management System while challenging 3rd party providers of Warehouse Controlling System and Material Handling Environments
- Create and support on technical design of WCS Integration and definition of acceptance criteria for Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Control System and Material Handling Equipments
- Managing the WCS integration platform, technical setup and deployments considering secured compliance rules of Kühne+Nagel
- Creation and running of test scripts and test szenarios withing Development Acceptance Test, System Integration Test, Regression Test and supporting User Acceptance Tests
- Support, training and coaching of national and regional colleagues within Kühne+Nagel
- Define non-functional requirements
Your Skills and Experiences
Experience on warehouse automation implementation since years, understanding of logistics (warehousing automation) processes is mandatoryProfound knowledge on Warehouse Management Systems, configuration of WMS Systems. Deep knowledge with Blueyonder WMS is beneficial.Profound technical understanding including multiple years of professional experience working in large-scale complex projects and organizations.Strong interest to discover and implement new technologies in regards of automation and digitalisation.Motivation to work in an international and distributed team and project environment.Willingness to travel (occasional business trips, stakeholder meetings).Fluent oral and written English language skills.Good Reasons to Join
