Technical Development Manager

We are seeking a Technical Development Manager to lead our development team, focusing on people management, coaching, and mentorship , while maintaining a strong technical foundation to help the team overcome challenges.

The Role

Working Hours : Mondays - Fridays,

6AM-3PM Central European Time

1PM-10PM Asia / Manila

11PM-8AM Central Standard Time

Salary Range : 3000-6000 USD (subject to evaluation of experience and skill level)

As our Technical Development Manager , you will lead and inspire our development team to foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence . Your primary focus will be on leadership and mentorship , while your technical expertise will enable you to guide the team in solving complex challenges and delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership : Manage and support the development team to align with company goals and client expectations.

Mentorship and Coaching : Guide team members in their professional growth, offering constructive feedback and opportunities for skill enhancement.

Problem-Solving : Serve as the escalation point for technical challenges, providing guidance and solutions to overcome blockers.

Collaboration : Partner with team members on complex tasks, offering hands-on support when needed.

Recruitment and Hiring : Participate in the recruitment process, including conducting interviews to ensure candidates meet technical and company culture-fit expectations.

Process Improvement : Implement strategies to enhance team workflows, productivity, and overall performance .

Must-Haves :

Leadership Experience : 10+ years in a hands-on technical leadership or management role , with a proven ability to guide and support technical teams .

Technical Expertise : Solid understanding of development practices , including familiarity with platforms like WordPress, Webflow, and Shopify , with the ability to mentor junior members of the team in these technologies.

Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to assist team members in addressing development blockers and delivering solutions.

Mentorship Skills : Passion for coaching and developing others to achieve their full potential.

Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies and priorities.

Communication Skills : Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders .

Nice-to-Haves :

Experience with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.

Familiarity with modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Angular or tools like Git / GitHub / GitLab .

Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools like Google Tag Manager .
