Hauptaufgaben

Processes material release orders (MRO) under general and specialized shipping prescriptions. Receives, examines, identifies and verifies a wide variety of materials, technical components, parts, commodities and major end items. Compares the material identification plate or marking and obvious physical characteristics to material accompanying documentation. Verifies the accuracy of shipping documents with actual type quantity and quality of materials or equipment received. Categorizes material according to observable physical condition. In case of discrepancies refers to stock catalogues and other supply reference material to assure that material is properly identified. Assures that all documentation accompanying material is complete and accurate, corrects and completes documentation. Sorts, segregates shipments by destination with regard to priority code. Coordinates and cooperates with inspection personnel for technical checks and determinations. Operates ADP equipment of Automated Manifest System (AMS) including IBM compatible personal computer, optical memory card reader / writer,bar code reader (BCR), modem and Savi Tag docking station. Scans barcoded data on shipping documentation and loads it to the AMS terminal. Prints shipping labels and Transportation Control and Movement Documentation (TCMD) for shipments. Performs warehousing duties such as packing boxes, lifting and stacking material; transfers material to shipment holding area or loads material on to conveyor system, considering shipment locations to which material should be transported. Prepares multibox material for CONUS or DRMO retrograding.

Performs other duties as assigned

E&T Level I : 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below.

E&T Level I : 2 Jahre anrechenbare Erfahrung, wie beschrieben unter A.

Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.

E&T Level III and above : No additional experience required.

E&T Level III und hoeher : Keine zusaetzlich Erfahrung erforderlich.

Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.

Innerbetriebliche Arbeitnehmer, die bereits 1 Jahr im gleichen oder aehnlichen Taetigkeitsbereich beschaeftigt sind, qualifizieren fuer den naechst hoeheren Bezahlungsgrad.

Experience A : Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

Erfahrung A : Allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.

• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Büroanwenderprogrammen erforderlich. / Office automation skills are required.
• Führerschein Klasse B erwünscht. / German driver's license class B desired.

SPRACHKENNTNISSE / LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL :

Englischlevel B1 und Deutschlevel C1 erforderlich. / English Language Proficiency level B1AND German Language Proficiency level C1 required.
