Your prospective job :

You are acting as a Network Engineer (m / f / d) for our prestigious client in the field of aerospace industry in Donauwörth.

Your responsibilities :

Technical support of projects from the build phase to deployment

Network configuration (routing, switching, wireless)

Network and IP management (IPAM, monitoring tools, CMDB)

Analysis of the causes of infrastructure and network problems and their resolution in a time-critical environment

Writing technical documentation for new and existing network designs, implementations, processes and tools

Your profile :

Completed studies in Electrical engineering, computer science, communications engineering or comparable

Knowledge of IT networks, such as routing and switching or firewall knowledge

Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA

Experience in operating LAN and WLAN infrastructures with Cisco technologies

Programming and scripting experience is an advantage (examples : Python, YAML, JSON)

Knowledge of network security (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield and Cisco ASA firewalls)

Understanding of IT services (Active Directory, SCCM, IAM) and virtualization technologies (vmWare and Microsoft Hyper-V)

Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools and the underlying principle

Fluent English and German skills both spoken and written

French and / or Spanish skills are an advantage
