- Ability to capture and analyze requirements for both military and civil flight management systems and air traffic control
- Capability to perform concept and architecture engineering for flight management systems
- Experience in the design and development of FMS and automation functions to support the integration of RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) into the general airspace
- Proven expertise in the design and development of flight control functions
- Responsibility for managing suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring successful integration and timely delivery
- Proficiency in specifying and managing verification and validation activities, including lab, ground, and flight testing
- Support for standardization and certification activities in collaboration with international regulatory bodies and agencies
- Ability to contribute to the operational support of systems and ensure their continuous performance
- Active involvement in research activities related to flight management and control systems
- Successfully completed studies in the field of physics or aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in systems engineering is required
- Knowledge of flight management systems or similar systems is necessary
- Experience with UAV / RPAS is an advantage
- Proficiency in the use of design and simulation tools is required (e.g., Matlab / Simulink, SCADE)
- English language is required
- German language skills are desirable
- High level of motivation
- Willingness to work in an international team
