Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Auction Support – Offshore Wind Advisory

Job Description

As our new Senior Consultant Auction Support , you will be part of our global PMO & Cross Package Support competence group within our Offshore Wind Advisory team.

You will take on a key role as subject matter expert shaping and enhancing our service deliverables. Our assignments are of a diverse nature with both well-known and new market players, joint ventures, and investment funds, and cover a broad scope of services as well as potential combination with other technologies, such as Power-to-X, where we would make use of the wider Ramboll expertise.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on diverse tasks and responsibilities in international projects of varied complexity and scale, such as :

• Advise on German and other global auctions with technical concept design, site ranking, cost modelling, scheduling, understanding regulatory framework, support in bid writing, competitive analysis, and strategic advice
• Identify strategic clients and services to advance around upcoming auctions
• Understand client's needs, plan scope with view to value creation for client, incl. putting together a fitting internal team
• Manage execution of scope by steering subject matter experts, coordinate and review work products
• Get involved with potential projects already in proposal stage, deliver scope and cost inputs to potential projects

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a master’s degree or other advanced degree is preferred
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting, bid management or strategic planning
• Solid knowledge about framework, players, and dynamics of offshore wind market
• Strong writing and communication skills with an eye for analytical and persuasive presentations
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are beneficial
• Ability to develop, implement and improve business processes
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a structured approach to solving problems
• Open minded, team-oriented, self-driven, pro-active, and assertive
• High motivation to work in a growing multi-national team and in different environments,
• Client oriented approach
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and make independent decisions that advance company goals and objectives
