- Encourage technology realization programs utilizing our internal project execution processes.
- Support technology roadmaps and strategies as it relates to European region, as well as developing relationships with Eaton stakeholders (engineering, product lines, government programs
- Guidance, coaching and development of the technical staff.
- The position will report to the VP Engineering Technology EMEA and functional to the Global Technology Manager Profile
- PhD or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution required
- Industrial experience in power and energy systems area
- R&D experience in distributed energy resource (DER) integration and management, microgrid, power distribution systems modeling, analysis, monitoring and control, protection, EV charging infrastructure and its grid integration
- Experience in developing and executing EU and German government funded projects to advance research and product development in power and energy systems area very welcome
- Experience on managing lab / experimental infrastructure including both power and control hardware in the loop testing facilities
- Program management -new product development innovation process
- Communication and presentation skills in English and German (oral and written) We offer
