ROLE OVERVIEW
The Field Service Engineer plays a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of equipment and systems at customer locations. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong customer service skills. Field Service Engineers are responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing a variety of PayComplete equipment, ensuring optimal performance for clients.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure they operate at peak performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using analytical skills and specialised tools.
- Provide technical support to customers, offering solutions and advice for efficient equipment use.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of service reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and safety.
- Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients by demonstrating reliability and expertise.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical role.Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, as required.A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.Application and CV should be submitted in English.
