What can you expect

At Motel a Miio, we are searching for an experienced and visionary  Head of Art Director (m / f / d) who will lead our creative team in crafting innovative and cohesive brand concepts. This pivotal role involves driving high-impact campaigns, ensuring high quality across all creative assets and setting the strategic direction for our brand’s identity across all touchpoints.

  • Lead and execute brand concepts and creative campaigns with high cross-media effectiveness
  • Strategically manage and ensure quality across a diverse range of marketing materials, including UI Design, Motion Design, Newsletter Design, Packaging, Branding, and Print Media (flyers, brochures, print ads, magazines, posters, etc.)
  • Oversee seamless production workflows within the creative department
  • Ensure a consistent brand presence across all online and offline channels
  • Continuously develop and refine the corporate identity across all brand divisions
  • Provide disciplinary leadership for the graphic design team, copywriters, photographers and external agencies
  • Supervise and ensure a cohesive e-commerce visual identity
  • Collaborate closely with the product team and performance marketing to align on creative concepts
  • Align creative strategy with all communication channels and cross-departmental stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee the budget for the entire creative department

Your profile

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in creative- or art direction, ideally within a premium brand or agency
  • Educational background in fashion, art or design
  • Extensive experience in photo shoots and creative production environments
  • Deep expertise in lifestyle, culture trends, fashion and storytelling, particularly within the premium segment
  • Strong visual imagination and aesthetic sense for contemporary look and feel and visual language
  • Known for a structured and process-oriented approach alongside your creativity
  • Innovative and analytical thinking to solve challenges and drive projects forward
  • A proactive, hands-on personality with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • High initiative and a strong sense of responsibility, paired with a positive and outgoing attitude
  • Comfortable working in a diverse cultural environment, fostering collaboration and inclusivity
