Senior Business Development Manager - Renewable Energy - Solar PV & Wind Development

The Company

A multi-billion euro company acquired a majority stake in this business with huge growth plans within the development market.

They are on track to construct over 1GW of wind and solar farms by 2030 whilst doubling their staff to over 90 employees this year.

As a business, they have 3000 hectares in their pipeline with over 1000 hectares already secured.

Duties and responsibilities

  • As a Business Development Manager in the field of energy solutions, you will be responsible for the further development of services, acquisition and support of new customers and the development of new market potential.
  • Collaboration in the development and further development of business models, customer solutions and products
  • Acquiring energy-intensive companies (process industry, logistics) and municipal clients for services in the area of energy transformation implementation and planning
  • Representing the business at fairs and congresses, including specialist presentations to support networking and sales work
  • Developing solution visions for customers during initial and follow-up meetings, including visits to customers
  • Development and negotiation of customized offers in close coordination with the expert teams from the areas of energy solutions, wind and PV as well as our external network of experts

Profile

  • Studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • High level of customer orientation, commitment and enjoyment of working with various stakeholders
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in sales of energy-related services desirable
  • Basic understanding of the challenges of the industrial energy transition and the energy markets
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent in German and English
