Key job responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Serve as subject matter expert for payroll operations across assigned countries
- Lead payroll components in M&A and expansion projects
- Design and implement robust control frameworks
- Maintain compliance with local regulations
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge bases
Process Excellence
Drive end-to-end payroll improvement initiativesLead root cause analysis for complex payroll issuesImplement and optimize payroll processesSupport decision-making through formulating and executing financial analysisMonitor and enhance operational effectivenessStakeholder Management

Mentor team membersBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent customer service orientation3+ years Payroll / HR experienceFluency in English and GermanAdvanced user of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)Deep controllership / statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labour code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations)Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated stakeholder management skillsProcess optimization expertiseExperience leading complex data analysis Proficient in obtaining, organizing, and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions and driveTrack record of identifying root causes and implementing preventive solutions at scalePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
