cognee is an open-source software (OSS) framework that processes, stores and generates semantic layers above vector and graph stores (GraphRAGs).

We aim to automate data storage, enrichment and personalisation for LLM in-context learning. Our company is located in the US and has a German subsidiary, for which we are currently hiring for. We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities :

Deploy cognee in production with our clients
Oversee the machine learning lifecycle from data collection to deployment.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate solutions.
Adopt MLOps best practices for efficient and scalable model deployment.
Stay updated with advancements in machine learning and data science.
Develop and maintain documentation and engage with the open-source community.

Requirements

Requirements :

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.

Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer with a strong project track record.

Expertise in MLOps and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), and MLflow.

Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

Experience in deploying machine learning models in production.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
