Director, Account Management
Our client are a global engineering and technology solutions provider, working across multiple industries.
They are looking for a Director of Account Management to join them and be responsible for the maximization of the global Account penetration and profitable growth of the defined Key Accounts.
He / she has to represent our client in all strategic activities and act as an interface between the customer (customer's HQ) and the internal organization (HQ & Regions).
Additionally he / she acts as the advocate for the customer’s interests and shows a personal long-term commitment for his / her customer.
Key Responsibilities :
- The GAM develops a strategic global partnership and establishes relationships with the appropriate Key Account Customer’s key decision makers, executives, CXOs and Board and ensures access to the account for the different portfolio teams, combines the know-how and forms the communication hub.
- Develops a 3 to 5-year business development strategy for the account including :
- Setting long-term goals for the Account
- Developing and modifying the Account Plan to achieve this goal
- Identifying the strategic projects which make up the plan
- Engaging the relevant Regions, Delivery Units, Senior Executives and agreeing with them to develop, sell and deliver the complete range of solutions.
- Leads, coordinates and motivates the Global Account Team and associated management in order to achieve a significant and profitable business growth with the customer focusing on :
- New business fields
- International business
- Protecting traditional business
- Establishing business alliances.
Client Relationship Management :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with global / multinational clients.
- Understand the client's goals, challenges, and needs to propose tailored solutions.
Account Growth :
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the scope of services or products offered to clients.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals associated with the assigned global accounts.
Strategic Planning :
- Create and execute account plans and strategies to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align company resources with client needs.
Contract Negotiation :
- Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Handle contract renewals and extensions.
Market Research :
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Identify potential new markets or opportunities for client expansion.
Problem Solving :
- Address and resolve issues, concerns, and challenges that may arise during the client engagement.
- Act as the main point of
