DACH Packaging Excellence & Quality Engineer (w,m,d,x)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your role
Do you want to ensure that all packaging materials and processes meet top-quality standards and compliance requirements?
Join our team in Barleben close to Magdeburg to enhance packaging performance, optimize costs, and promote sustainable solutions.
This role is available for a 24-month contract (extension possible).
Your area of responsibility
- You’ll perform testing and validation of packaging designs to ensure they meet all performance, safety, and environmental standards.
- You’ll monitor packaging-related issues, complaints, and non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
- You’ll create and maintain packaging quality documentation, including control plans, test protocols, and specifications.
- You’ll develop and implement quality control processes for packaging materials and products.
- You’ll monitor the performance of packaging materials during production and distribution.
Your profile
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- You have 3+ years of experience in packaging quality control or a related area.
- You possess strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- You have experience with packaging materials (e.g., corrugated, plastics) and testing methods (e.g., ISTA, ASTM, BCT, ECT).
- You’re skilled in problem-solving and corrective action implementation.
- You communicate well in teams and manage projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
