Finance Manager Biopharma FP&A (International) (m/f/d)

Location: Any Pfizer Site in Europe

The Biopharma Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for driving the consolidation and review of the financial performance of the groups that comprise group delivers financial support and analysis to the Commercial Presidents and VPs of Finance providing timely accurate and insightful analyses to support the Biopharma business.

The Finance Manager will support the International FP&A team by ensuring accurate financial reporting managing cost structures and providing actionable insights to optimize above-market spend. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders in a dynamic global environment. This position will also provide broad support to the International Finance Director and Regional Finance Manager adapting to evolving business needs and priorities across financial processes.

About the role:

• Maintain and update cost center structures in alignment with organizational changes validating expense allocations and ensuring compliance with internal policies and global standards.

• Prepare and post journal entries for international entities perform reconciliations and validate financial data for accuracy and completeness. Support variance analysis and provide commentary on key drivers to ensure robust month-end close activities.

• Monitor and track above-market expenses ensuring alignment with budget and forecasts. Partner with business partners to review spending trends identify optimization opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for cost efficiency.

• Monitor and track Medical expenses across International and perform monthly financial planning and reporting activities. Analyze data from regions and major markets to monitor performance and deliver on financial commitments.

• Support simplification and automation initiatives driving financial process improvements to meet the changing needs of business unit teams and the broader Biopharma and Finance organizations. Ensure adherence to corporate accounting standards SOX compliance and internal controls and support implementation of new systems or tools to enhance FP&A capabilities.

• Work closely with regional finance teams Global Biopharma FP&A and business partners actively participating in and supporting Global Biopharma FP&A activities such as consolidation of actual results forecasts and operating plans for the Global Biopharma organization. Embrace AI and digital innovation to improve processes and efficiencies across the organization

About You:

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting

• 35 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis preferably in a multinational environment.

• Strong understanding of cost center management and financial close processes.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus

• Strong experience with Pfizers financial systems (e.g. Oracle Essbase/Global Mosaic SAP etc.)

• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.

• Collaborative mindset with ability to work across cultures and time zones.

• Proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency.
