Field Application Engineer

Responsibilities
- Aid design engineers in integrating Silicon Carbide (SiC) power devices into their products, offering both remote and on-site support.
- Respond to technical questions from current and potential customers, providing thorough documentation and timely feedback.
- Maintain proactive communication with key customers throughout their project development.
- Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support via technology presentations and product demonstrations.
- Create and present materials at technical seminars, trade shows, and training sessions for sales representatives and distributors.
- Collaborate closely with factory teams to ensure effective technical support and information exchange.
- Gather and consolidate customer feedback to help define new products and improve existing ones.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Application Engineers, R&D or other customer support roles for SiC Power Electronics as well as extensive knowledge of Diodes and MOSFETs and their standards and regulations like JEDEC, AEC-Q and QAG324.
- Proven experience in excellent customer support, technical communications and presentations.
- Strong understanding of Power Electronic Circuit design - AC / DC, DC / DC and DC / AC.
- Available for frequent international travel.
