Hauptaufgaben

• Strictly follows established procedures to receive, check, verify, sort, and classify materials and equipment by stock numbers, size, classification, and condition at various or remote locations.
• Reviews incoming and outgoing documents to ensure correct item identification, quantity, and condition; reports discrepancies to supervisors and ensures correct documentation accompanies each shipment to support an audit trail.
• Assists with physical inventory by counting designated items, recording counts, and automatically performing second and third verification counts in accordance with procedures.
• Moves pallets, packages items for return or shipment, and warehouses materials; receives and visually verifies returned items from maintenance repairs before preparing them for reissue.
• Safely utilizes hand and power tools to prepare, dismantle, sort, pack, and secure supplies and equipment for transit to and from SAE/A.
• Safely operates various forklifts (up to 10,000 lbs capacity) to move, load, unload, and stack palletized goods; operates motor vehicles up to 1 ton.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

C-4a:
MINIMUM Hauptschulabschluss (E&T Level I) PLUS 2 years of creditable experience that included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of clerical experience.

Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.

• If requirement exists, the incumbent of this position is obligated to perform TDY within and outside Germany, shift work, weekend and holiday work.
• Heavy lifting up to 40 lbs./18 kg required.
• Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
• English Language Proficiency level B1 AND German Language Proficiency level C1 required.
