Your tasks

• Independent development, execution and coordination of defined design tasks within the framework of given concepts.
• Development of components, assemblies and assemblies/machines according to internal specifications
• Constructive design of drafts, sketches and specifications
• Definition, monitoring and constructive design of interfaces between components/assemblies, taking into account the individual functions
• Definition of shape, dimensions and tolerances according to designs
• Consideration of manufacturing-related aspects, repair options and space constraints.
• Implementation of design results in parts lists and manufacturing drawings, taking into account the numbering system, the standard and production-specific features.
• Creation and review of manufacturing documents (drawings and parts lists)
• Constructive support of manufacturing and assembly

Your profile

• State-certified technician in mechanical engineering or completed technical studies (preferably automotive engineering, mechanical engineering) or comparable qualification
• At least 2 years of professional experience in design (vehicle construction, special machinery); student work does not count as professional experience.
• Excellent CAD skills (Pro/E, Creo 4, Windchill) – work is done exclusively in Creo
• Good MS Office skills
• Good German and English skills
• Willingness to handle classified documents (VS documents)
• Nationality: Only applicants from NATO countries.
• On-site presence required (no remote work)
• Safety shoes required
• Exclusion criterion: Do not nominate candidates who have already been involved in the process as a design engineer in the EW department.
