Hauptaufgaben
• Performs repetitive maintenance, visual quality inspections, and manual assembly/disassembly of ammunition and components on a production line. Operates preset pneumatic/electric machinery and stencil equipment under Quality Assurance supervision.
• Executes receipt, storage, classification, and shipping tasks. Regularly operates various material handling equipment (such as forklifts under 10,000 lbs, warehouse tractors, and side shifters) to safely transport conventional ammunition.
• Assists in destroying unserviceable or deteriorated explosives and ammunition via detonation or burning. Responsible for securing demolition areas, laying out items for furnaces/pits, priming charges with safety fuses, and conducting post-destruction safety sweeps.
• Performs heavy physical labor, including loading/unloading trucks and railcars, stacking, palletizing, blocking, and bracing conventional ammunition shipments using hand and power tools (e.g., banding machines, chainsaws, nailing guns).
• Conducts care of materials in storage by removing rust/corrosion, mixing paints, repainting shipping boxes, and utilizing brush, roller, or spray equipment to apply precise markings and stencils IAW technical drawings.
• Accomplishes manual labor tasks such as stock sorting and segregation. Conducts physical inventory counts when needed, posts magazine data cards, and compiles supply summary sheets to expedite movement processes.

No specific education required. Applicant must be able to perform the duties of the position after technical on-the-job training.

This is a temporary position due to support of Marine Corps ammunition taskings, not to exceed 16. July 2032.
• If requirement exists, the incumbent of this position is obligated to perform TDY within and outside Germany, shift work, weekend and holiday work.
• Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs/28 kg.
• German driver's license class B and forklift operator license desired.
• English Language Proficiency level A1 AND German Language Proficiency level B1 required.
