A client of JDRoss are seeking a skilled Acoustic Emissions Tester with a background in electrical or mechanical engineering / testing to join our clients team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting acoustic emissions testing on a variety of structures and materials to detect and analyse defects that may compromise integrity and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct acoustic emissions testing and analysis on structures and components to identify potential flaws or defects.
- Interpret results and prepare detailed reports that highlight findings, making recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to develop testing plans and improve testing methodologies.
- Set up and calibrate acoustic emissions testing equipment in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of testing processes and results to ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing testing equipment as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in acoustic emissions technology and testing techniques, applying new knowledge to improve testing processes.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications :
Experience in Electrical Engineering / testing, Mechanical Engineering / TestingWillingness to lean and develop acoustic emissions testing principles and equipment.Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Good communication skills in German (B level minimum)Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to acoustic emissions testing is preferred.Certification in acoustic emissions testing or non-destructive testing is a plus.Strong IT skills in order to analyse dataIf you are interested then please reach out to [email protected]
