Social Media Specialist

About the Role:KUMMUNI is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to oversee and elevate our online presence across all social media platforms. You will be responsible for crafting and executing innovative social media strategies that align with our brand’s vision, increase engagement, and drive growth. As a key member of our marketing team, you will lead efforts to build a strong online community, amplify our brand message, and manage day-to-day social media activities.This role requires a social media enthusiast who understands the nuances of various platforms, stays on top of emerging trends, and has a knack for creating engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.Create and curate high-quality, engaging, and relevant content (including text, images, and videos) for all social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).Manage day-to-day social media operations, including scheduling posts, community engagement, and responding to comments and messages.Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion rates.Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and campaigns.Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, tools, and platforms, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the table.Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, ad creation, and performance tracking.Engage with influencers, bloggers, and other relevant networks to expand our brand’s presence and foster partnerships.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.Proven track record of growing and managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.Experience in content creation, including design tools like Canva, Adobe, or equivalent.Excellent communication, writing, and creative skills.Analytical mindset with experience in tracking KPIs and adjusting strategies accordingly.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.Fluent in English; German is an advantage.Key Requirements:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate brand values and vision clearly.A passion for social media, with a keen interest in emerging platforms and trends.Team player with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
