Your Mission :

• Lead and Empower : Guide and mentor a team of system administrators to ensure the seamless operation and high availability of our data centres, cloud infrastructure, and tools.
• Strategic Resource Management : Efficiently allocate team resources, manage project priorities, and ensure on-call support is effectively covered.
• Drive Innovation : Support our business and product strategies by leading innovation in the hosting and orchestration of our services.
• Adopt Emerging Technologies : Lead the integration of new, cutting-edge technologies to enhance infrastructure performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Ownership of Infrastructure Projects : Plan, prioritize, and oversee the communication and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Financial Stewardship : Plan and manage the budget for infrastructure development and upgrades, ensuring cost-effective scaling while maintaining high performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure the infrastructure supports both current and future business needs.
• Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors and ensure systems, tools, and hardware are maintained or upgraded when necessary.
• Infrastructure Modernization : Lead key projects such as migrating on-premises applications to the public cloud, collaborating with IT support teams, DevOps engineers, architects, and cybersecurity experts.
• Compliance & Security : Ensure the infrastructure aligns with industry best practices for security, regulatory compliance, and data privacy.
• Performance Monitoring : Regularly report on infrastructure performance KPIs and ensure disaster recovery plans are maintained and tested.
• Customer-Focused Incident Response : Support the team in responding to customer incidents, monitoring, and addressing any infrastructure issues.

Your Profile :

• 10+ years of IT experience, with a focus on system administration and automation.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and managing service-based applications.
• Expertise in Linux system administration and proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible .
• Strong skills in Bash and Python scripting and programming.
• Experience with running high-demand .NET and Java applications in production, with knowledge of memory management.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, using monitoring tools to resolve complex issues.
• Effective communicator and team collaborator, comfortable working across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.
