Full remote IT Infrastructure Engineer

An international IT company in Germany is currently recruiting a German and English speaking IT Infrastructure You will provide IT support services with a focus on infrastructure and networks to clients located in Frankfurt. While this is a remote-based position, occasional visits to the client's site in Frankfurt are required. Therefore, applicants should be able to travel to Frankfurt regularly.

IT System Engineer Main Responsibilities :

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support (internal & external)
• Manage calls and tickets using the ticketing system
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues where necessary
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults
• Maintain and improve customer services
• Support other on-site and internal engineers
• Maintain support documentation (manuals, user guides, etc.)
• Manage licenses and vendor support contracts
• Adhere to customer IT policies and procedures
• Support planning for system integrations and relocations
• Assist with new • Manage small-scale integration projects (including internal ones)
• Manage vendor services

IT System Engineer Ideal Candidate :

Required :

• Experience in technical support within IT infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills with clients, end-users, and vendors
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) and PC troubleshooting
• Business-level English and German proficiency
• Based in Frankfurt or surrounding areas

Preferred :

• Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11
• Experience with • Experience supporting Windows Server OS • Experience with server administration
