This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems

Task description

• Planning and execution of configuration management within the project landscapes along the complete product lifecycle
• Identification of configuration elements and ensuring configuration control
• Identification of requirements, functional and physical properties of configuration elements
• Creation of configuration baselines
• Supervision and controlling of the configuration management of internal and external suppliers
• Regular reporting of the configuration management status (product tree, assembly tree, drawing tree, CIDL, ABCL, Change status, RFD / RFWs ) towards project and customer
• Preparation and delivery of data packages at project milestones to the customer
• Contribute to our data transformation plan in order to realize the vision of a fully mastered end-to-end data flow
• Pioneer change and support the implementation of new digital ways of working, processes, methods and tool chains
• Build a bridge to the field of data science and its application within our domain
• Preparation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Required qualifications

The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of aerospace engineering or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways.
