Your Impact

Were looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in hardware development to join our dynamic team at Dedrone. In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our hardware products leveraging your knowledge of mechanical design to partner effectively with crossfunctional teams.

What Youll Do

  • Develop fixedsite portable and mobile solutions focusing on durable designs that maintain performance in various operational environments.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through to endoflife ensuring designs meet requirements for mechanical stability thermal efficiency and overall reliability under diverse conditions.
  • Create conceptual designs for new products considering factors that will influence cost size weight and environmental ratings.
  • Validate new designs using industry standard test equipment.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including electrical and RF engineers system architects and software developers.
  • Manage component and billofmaterials (BOM) structures in PLM systems ensuring traceability and accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a focus on product design.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles including heat transfer EMI and shock and vibration.
  • Fundamentals in simulation tools such as SolidWorks Simulation Ansys or similar software for thermal and structural analysis.
  • Experience in designing products to withstand harsh environments.
  • Handson experience with fabrication tools such as drills bandsaws and angle grinders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and present complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity.
