Senior IT Administrator (m / f / d)

The Digital Workplace IT department is responsible for shaping and developing our modern work environment at Argus. We continuously explore new technologies and trends. This includes the implementation and enhancement of technologies such as Microsoft 365, enabling our employees to work flexibly.

Another key aspect is client management for Apple and Windows devices, ensuring secure and efficient operations across all devices. Our department collaborates closely with various other teams.

• Many years of experience in an Administrator role
• Experience working with on-prem, Azure, and hybrid environments
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems
• Ability to manage MS Windows roles such as DHCP, DNS, and PKI
• Practical knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and MS Exchange
• Administration of the VMware virtualization platform (developing and implementing automation, troubleshooting performance issues, updates)
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, particularly VMware or Hyper-V
• Administration of containerized systems based on Kubernetes
• Experience in managing backup systems (e.g., Veeam)
• Ability to work with monitoring systems (e.g., PRTG) and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues
• Good understanding of network protocols, firewall systems, and IT security principles
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Very good command of English, at least C1 level
• Higher education degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database management and database optimization will be an additional asset.

No recurring appointments, but occasional meetings in Frankfurt / Berlin / Zurich are possible 3-5 times a year.
