Are Sales Manager (Regional Sales Manager)

Summary :

This position will be responsible for selling Baldwin's product and services across South Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

The individual will be responsible for ensuring that established orders, revenue, margin and profit goals are met in his teritory. He is responsible for the sales of the total Baldwin product portfolio.

The person will also be responsible to manage agent channels that serve the print market in the territory..

This role will work externally and internally to help identify opportunities to strengthen Baldwin’s overall value proposition. Utilize CRM data to understand performance of strategic accounts, as well as constant monitoring of current sales funnel in order to develop strategy and metrics to deliver future growth.

Some of the essential functions of the role include :

  • Develops annual regional sales plan in support of segment strategies and objectives.
  • Customer support in the sales area and analysis of customer needs (on-site)
  • Market analyses and maintenance of market data as well as preparation of business plans
  • Partnering with Product Sales Leaders in focusing on growth in the region.
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.

Experience Required

  • Professional experience in sales, preferably in mechanical and plant engineering
  • High level of customer orientation
  • 5 years of capital equipment sales experience in an industrial market
  • Experience in delivering sales campaigns in multiple countries
  • The ability to speak multiple languages including German and English
  • The strategic agility to develop and execute strategies focused on organizational growth.
  • Experience working in diverse cultures across the globe.
  • Experience working inside of the print industry
  • Your qualifications :

  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering and / or electrical engineering
  • Analytical thinking skills and result orientation
  • High level of social skills, strong communication and teamwork skills as well as organizational talent
  • High level of commitment, reliability, independence, flexibility
  • Willingness to travel 50 -75 % within Europe
