Your tasks

  • Independent planning and implementation of complex transport logistics solutions as part of freight planning, taking into account supply security, costs, time, quality and environmental aspects with a focus on road transport
  • Coordination of transport logistics requirements with internal and external process partners, e.g. purchasing, material planning, suppliers, transport service providers and purchasing
  • Continuous optimization of existing transport relations on the basis of KPIs
  • Moderation and implementation of escalation meetings with internal and external process partners in the event of performance problems
  • Supervision of transport services in series production or for the coordination of volume and quantity fluctuations
  • Management of cross-functional (sub-)projects as part of digitalization initiatives
  • Development of methods for the integration, analysis and visualization of transport logistics performance and cost data
  • Development and support of dashboards, e.g. PowerBI
  • Development of methods for evaluating transport service providers as part of performance measurement

    • Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of economics / industrial engineering with a focus on logistics, alternatively qualification as a transport specialist, business economist, forwarding agent with several years of professional experience or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in supply chain management and project management is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of the common MS Office products
  • Experience with BI tools, such as PowerBI, Qlik etc., desirable
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Digital mindset and strong affinity for data and IT
  • Ability to integrate and work in a team
  • Assertiveness and confident demeanor
  • Strategic, analytical and conceptual skills
  • Quick comprehension and structured way of working
