Senior Python Developer

Industry : Automotive Software Industry

Location : Munich, Germany

Salary : €75,000 - €95,000

Start date : ASAP

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications and tools that drive innovation within the organisation. Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain Python applications for various automotive solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.
  • Optimise and enhance existing code for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and work with cloud-based solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Python development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in version control using Git.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
