Job description
- Contribution to annual strategy and planning of Lotus and Natural Foods brands for the German market in order to maximize penetration, awareness, turnover and profit of the categories and brands responsible in all distribution channels in the short and medium term
- Definition of the full range of brand standards that articulate how the Lotus brand proposition is delivered within the market as well as ownership of the brand book & catalogues that serve as a blueprint for the design and execution of the brand across channels
- Development, implementation, tracking and steering of the Marketing strategy mix for our brands with special focus on POS activation as well as Social Media campaigns
- Content support on Amazon for Lotus and Natural Foods
- Ensuring of best in class brand activation across portfolio to elevate our brands in the market
- Define and monitor key performance indicators as well as effectiveness of our Marketing initiatives in collaboration with Category Development
- Cross functional alignment with key departments incl. Category Development, central functions, etc.
- Selection, coordination and supervision of external agencies
- Implement, control and steer cost and investment budgets in cooperation with central functions and in agreement with the superior
- Lead, inspire, develop and motivate the local Marketing team with 2 direct reports (Trade Marketing & Brand Management)
Strong capabilities to further elaborate our brand in the German markets and creating a clear visions is key to the success of this position, as well as pro-active and entrepreneurial thinking and acting in combination with a hands-on mentality and a team player profile.
The Marketing Manager role is based in Düsseldorf and reports to the Country Manager Germany.
Profile
Professional requirements :
- University degree (Masters) in economics, marketing, communications or equivalent
- Ideally 4-5 years of Brand Management / Consumer Marketing / Digital Marketing experience, preferably in international FMCG companies with strong emotional marketing relevance
- Strong experience in implementation and activation of Social Media campaigns preferred
- Profound conceptual and analytical skills to identify and lift the right potentials with a clear measurement of the success
- Very good knowledge in retail / household panel data to define and track the right KPIs for the initiatives implemented
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects, additional experience in working in matrix organization preferred
- Fluent (spoken & written) in German and English
