Your tasks
- Development, design and modification of vehicle components and complex mechanical assemblies
- Development of concepts through detailed design to the finished creation of drawing sets.
- Assembly responsibility, including drawing derivation for welded assemblies and individual parts
- Creation of specifications and work packages for systems engineering activities
- Commissioning, coordination and quality control of external development service providers
- Initiation, control and support of assembly verifications in the testing department
- Ensuring and adhering to predetermined time and cost schedules
- Support for the team leader and technical assistance for various vehicle projects
Your profile
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering with a focus on design
- Ideally, additional training in the metalworking sector or an experienced technician with relevant professional expertise.
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical design, ideally with additional qualifications as a welding engineer
- Military background is an advantage
- Solid practical experience in detailed design, the creation of drawing sets, and technical documentation
- Proficient use of Siemens NX or comparable 3D CAD systems
- Experience with PDM systems and DOORS
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented work style
- Creativity and a strong spatial imagination
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
