WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. BASF utilizes D365 to manage the internal local technical services, offering, central repair and maintenance as well as discrete manufacturing of spare parts and equipment.

As an IT Engineer for Dynamics D365, you will be responsible for the administration and 2nd / 3rd level support of a complex system. The Dynamics D365 includes ERP functionalities with SCM and F&O as well as CE with Field Service Management. Their main task is to ensure and optimize the operation of the system across all stages (development, testing, production).

  • Monitoring and management of Dynamics D365 environments (SCM, F&O, CE). Ensuring system availability, performance, and security. Manage environments, deployments, licenses, and Azure subscriptions.
  • Continuous monitoring of system integrity and connected systems (e.g., integration platforms, external data sources). Execution of error analyses and correction of complex problems in 3rd level support.
  • Proactively identify and implement system optimizations. Document changes, processes, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
  • Responsible for the proper management of stage concepts (e.g., development, testing, production). Monitoring interfaces between Dynamics D365 and other systems.
  • Close collaboration with internal teams (1st & 2nd level support, IT engineering) and external partners. Support for upgrades, updates, and migrations in the system.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • good understanding of Dynamics 365 (ERP with SCM & F&O and CE with FS). Experience with Azure deployments, environments and managing subscriptions. Knowledge of system integration (e.g. middleware, APIs)
  • excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and implement effective solutions with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Solution driven thinking
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • ability to coordinate system related work with internal and external peers
