Let's connect : If you want to experience how things are done in the IT Financial Accounting&Group Reporting team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an IT Business Analyst .
You can look forward to
- Analysis, conception, implementation and coordination of software-technical changes in IT systems in close coordination with business analysts, system managers, developers and internal system users from the Group Finance department
- Taking on a coordinating interface role between Group Finance and software development
- Participating in projects with a focus on implementation of a new consolidation tool
- Analysis and system-side realisation (customising) of specialist requirements in consolidation systems
- Data-related and processual analysis of consolidation in preparation for implementation of a new consolidation tool
- Process design and optimisation (redesign) through methodological and analytical moderation
- Dealing with specialist requests and troubleshooting in the context of day-to-day business
You come equipped with
- Bachelor's degree in business IT, business administration or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience or completed Master's degree
- Initial professional experience or internships in the financial services sector, ideally in the insurance industry
- Keen interest in processes associated with external accounting (national and international GAAP) and controlling as well as in matters of IT strategy
- Ideally, initial know-how acquired in the field of consolidation with a close bearing on IT
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Willingness to go on occasional business trips, roughly once or twice a year
- Organisational and planning skills, as well as decision-making and assertiveness
