Apprentice Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)

Do you love to do handicrafts in your home workshop, in school in handicraft lessons and technology is your thing? But would you actually prefer to work on large machines and systems? Then there is good news for you, because an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic will get you there!

What can you expect during your apprenticeship?

• Turning, filing, sawing and drilling - in the 1st year of your apprenticeship you will learn basic metal skills as well as how to manufacture components and assemblies.
• You will work through our various specialist departments, e.g. our different assembly departments. In this way, you will get to know the company even better and will be a important part of the team.
• Our dedicated trainers will help you with all your questions and challenges.
• Parallel to your training in the company, you will attend vocational school.
• Your tasks include, for example: Organizing and monitoring production processes Ensuring that machines and systems are ready for operation Supporting the assembly, installation and commissioning of machines and production systems Maintaining technical systems and dealing with control technology Handling technical documents such as technical drawings

The apprenticeship usually lasts 3.5 years. If you perform well, it is possible to shorten the training to 3 years.

What you should bring:

• Ideally, you will have at least an intermediate school leaving certificate with good grades in technical subjects such as math, physics and chemistry.
• Technical understanding and manual skills are important for your desired profession.
• A little bit of English won't hurt either, as you may come across some technical drawings and terms in English and we work in an international environment.
• You work carefully and responsibly on tasks that are assigned to you.
• An office workplace is too boring for you in the long run, you prefer to be physically involved.

And after the apprenticeship?

Our trainees are taken on for at least one year after completing their training normally. However, most of our trainees stay with us much longer and we are happy to accompany them through their career. But the end of the apprenticeship is by no means the end of the line - further training is important to us, which is why we have created the Alpine Campus. There, you will find qualification measures tailored to your current career level, so that you can always stay up to date.
