Expert Finance - Accounting (all genders)

In your role as Expert Finance - Accounting (all genders) you will:

• Own the end-to-end accounting and General Ledger (GL) closing process for German SPVs, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage invoice processing, SG&A reporting, and related-party transactions to support operational and financial performance.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, performance analyses, and financial reports for management and development meetings.
• Oversee shareholder loan (SHL) accounting, including quarterly interest calculations, accruals, and reporting.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and act as the main contact for external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with several years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• at least 5 years of professional experience in relevant positions
• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and hands-on experience preparing statutory financial statements and managing year-end audits.
• Proven experience leading month-end and quarter-end General Ledger (GL) closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of SPV accounting, shareholder loan (SHL) management, related-party transactions, and SG&A cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with auditors, business teams, and senior management while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• fluent in German and English, any additional language is a plus

Benefits

For this position, the fixed annual base salary starts at 59.000,00€ gross per year.

Separate from the starting base salary stated above, additional benefits may be available depending on the role, employee level and applicable company policies.
