The position
As a Principal Associate Mass Spectrometry for Gene Therapy (m / f / d) you will join an expert team in the area of analytical development for viral vector based therapies.
The main objective of your work is the chromatographic and mass spectrometric (LCMS) analysis of rAAVvs to support process development, improve our knowledge about our molecules and bring projects from the preclinical phase to market.
You will also develop and employ cutting-edge technologies to enable extended characterization of rAAVv capsids.
Your impact
Your main task comprises the self-responsible analysis of samples to support bioprocess development including data evaluation and reporting
Furthermore, you make a difference by adapting existing as well as developing new analytical methods for detailed characterization of rAAV capsids
The self-responsible documentation, execution, and evaluation of analyses according to GMP guidelines also belongs to your tasks
You take over the independent preparation of development reports and method qualification reports
Besides, we ask for your support in handling the testing, establishment, qualification, and supervision of modern LC-MS( / MS) systems
Your profile
You have at least five years of experience in protein analysis via chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods. Besides, knowledge in respective data evaluation is required.
You also have some first experience with proteomics analysis
The independent preparation of reports of different kind is nothing new to you method development, qualification). This also includes the discussion of data with other experts.
A Bachelor / Master’s degree in biotechnology, biology, chemistry or a similar area is the foundation of your knowledge
Fluency in English, written and spoken, is natural to you and we can trust in your structured, independent, and responsible way of working while tackling complex topics
This position is limited to a period of 3 years.
