Your Role:

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who thrives on building elegant systems and meaningful user experiences. In this role, you'll help shape the architecture and performance of the platform that powers JobLeads, primarily working on our backend systems with PHP and Symfony while also contributing to dynamic, high-performance interfaces using Vue.js and Server-Side Rendering.

But this role goes beyond simply writing code. You'll help drive technical decisions, influence the evolution of our platform, and play a key part in delivering products that empower millions of professionals worldwide.

How We Build:

Agentic engineering is how we work, not a pilot project. AI enhanced coding is part of everyday delivery, our merge requests run through an AI review pipeline in CI, and our tech leads each are constantly on the look out for ways to augment our team's capabilities and to build agent fluency. Not all of us are equally far along yet, but the direction is settled. What we never do is ship code nobody understands.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using PHP and Symfony, ensuring performance, stability, and maintainability across the platform.
• Build responsive, high-performance front-end experiences with Vue.js and Server-Side Rendering, bridging design and functionality seamlessly.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers to bring ideas from concept to launch.
• Participate in thoughtful code reviews that elevate code quality, strengthen architecture, and support team learning.
• Improve the conventions, tests, hooks and review automation that agents rely on.
• Share what you learn: bring your agent workflows, prompts and use cases into our knowledge-sharing sessions and reviews, and help colleagues who are less far along.
• Take ownership of features from initial concept through implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, delivering and operating production applications at scale.
• Strong expertise in PHP and a deep understanding of software design principles, scalable architecture, and secure handling of personal data in production.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Symfony framework, including Doctrine ORM and MySQL.
• Proven experience building modern front-end interfaces with Vue.js and Server-Side Rendering.
• Routine hands-on work with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or comparable) on production code, not IDE autocomplete.
• Spec and verification discipline: quality is decided before the first line of code, and you close the loop with plans, tests and blocking checks rather than trusting output.
• Solid automated-testing practice (PHPUnit or comparable): unit and integration tests as part of everyday delivery — the mechanism that makes agent-generated code verifiable.
• Deliberate context management, and real strength at reviewing agent-generated code, where the bottleneck now sits.
• Proficiency with Git and modern collaborative development workflows.
• Clear and effective communication skills, especially when collaborating with a distributed global team, and a track record of giving constructive feedback that raises the level around you.

Nice If You Have:

• Experience decomposing a monolith into a service-oriented architecture.
• Experience making a large legacy codebase agent-friendly, or with MCP servers.
• A security mindset in practice: OWASP Top 10 awareness, secure authentication flows, and keeping dependencies free of known vulnerabilities.
• Experience with observability tooling (Grafana, Sentry or comparable).
