    A wide range of tasks

  • In this role as Environment Architect you will take ownership of Endur’s infrastructure strategy, ensuring high availability, robust access management, and streamlined deployment across multiple environments (Development, Test, UAT, and Production). You will play a key role in shaping how EnBW sets up, manages, and automates its Endur instances, bringing DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to an environment undergoing cultural and technical change. This role will work closely within Trading IT, DevOps, and infrastructure teams, ensuring best practices for environment management, database optimization, and test automation frameworks are adopted and integrated into EnBW’s Trading technology strategy :  Endur Environment Setup & Optimization : Design, implement, and maintain Endur instances across all environments.Ensure best practices for deployment, configuration, and access management.Lead and manage Endur platform upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruptionTools : Endur, Configuration Management Tools.Access & Security Management : Establish secure access control policies and manage role-based access.Implement security protocols and integrate real-time code scanning tools to ensure compliance and address vulnerabilities.Support and facilitate annual penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities.Tools : Real-time Code Scanning Tools, Security Protocols.Infrastructure as Code & DevOps : Implement IaC principles using tools like Terraform and ARM templates.Automate environment provisioning with CI / CD pipelines.Develop automated test frameworks to validate system performance and ensure smooth upgrades and deployments.Tools : Terraform, ARM Templates, CI / CD Pipelines.Cloud & On-Premise Strategy : Lead the cloud transformation for Endur, integrating Azure and hybrid solutions.Optimize performance and resilience.Collaborate with business and IT leadership to define a long-term vision for Endur environments.Tools : Azure, Hybrid Cloud Solutions.Database Performance & Optimization : Optimize Endur’s backend for scalability and speed.Manage complex test environments with data masking techniques.Leverage deep knowledge of SQL, data storage, and performance tuning.Tools : SQL, Data Storage Solutions, Performance Tuning Tools.

    Convincing Profile

  • Endur Expertise : Proven expertise in Endur infrastructure, architecture, and deployment best practices, including setting up, managing, and optimizing Endur instances across multiple environments. Minimum 5 years of professional experience as Endur Specialist
  • Database and Performance Optimization : Deep understanding of databases used in Endur, with experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting data bottlenecks.
  • DevOps and IaC : Strong DevOps skills, including experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, ARM templates, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Security and Access Management : Expertise in implementing role-based access models for Endur environments and experience with test automation frameworks and strategies for validating system changes.
  • Cloud Migration and Collaboration : Background in cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure for trading applications (Azure experience preferred), strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to drive change across infrastructure, trading IT, and DevOps teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and ideally some experience in Trading or Banking environment
