SAP ABAP Developer
Working on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA for customers in metals, steel and mining? A technology and consulting company focused on the digitalization of industrial enterprises is expanding its team with an SAP ABAP Developer. The role combines new development, changes to existing code and technical support of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANAsolutions – from reports and forms to integrations via IDoc, RFC and BAPI. Required are 4+ years of commercial ABAPdevelopment, OO ABAP, ALV, DDIC, BADI and Enhancement Framework and German at least at B2 level.

- customer projects on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA for industrial clients (metals, steel, mining)
- development of new ABAP functions, reports and tools
- changes and fixes to existing SAP solutions – a larger share of support and enhancements than new development
- reports and forms, e.g. invoices, delivery notes and warehouse reports
- integration of SAP with other applications via IDoc, RFC, BAPI and web services
- extending SAP standard with BADI, User Exits and Enhancement Framework
- changes in purchasing, sales and finance processes and modernization of existing solutions
- debugging, performance optimization and technical support of SAP systems
- turning functional specifications from SAP consultants into technical solutions
- testing, code reviews and documentation of changes
🎯 Skills
- 4+ years of commercial SAP ABAP development
- ability to write and modify ABAP code independently
- ABAP Reports and ALV (ABAP List Viewer)
- Data Dictionary (DDIC)
- Module Pool Programming
- BADI, User Exits and Enhancement Framework
- Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)
- basic knowledge of IDoc, RFC, BAPI and Web Services
- debugging and troubleshooting ABAP code
- development or support of SAP ECC / S/4HANA
- working from functional specifications and cooperating with SAP consultants
- supporting SAP modules MM, SD, FI or CO from an ABAP development perspective
- German B2+
- English B2
