(Junior) Cloud Architect & Advisor (f/m/d) for RISE with SAP and BDC in MEE

What you’ll do:

As a (Junior) Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for the private cloud technical foundation of RISE with SAP and Business Data Cloud (BDC) engagements. The CAAs’ mandate spans the initial sales cycle, subsequent change requests and renewal events for private cloud architecture changes. You will advise customers and internal account teams on SAP’s private cloud offerings, assess the technical feasibility of customers’ requirements and translate these into technical landscape designs. As a final step, these landscapes are handed over to our delivery teams for system provisioning.

• Customer facing mindset
• Experience in customer communication and presentations
• Used to working in smaller teams and groups led by experienced colleagues
• Demonstrate capability to efficiently execute operational and preparatory activities
• Strong team player
• Basic understanding of the technical operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment
• Understanding of data center capabilities like high availability or disaster recovery is a benefit
• Good understanding of the entire platform stack (hyperscaler, storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
• Basic understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
• Affinity to technical topics, willingness to tackle aspects outside the comfort zone and to continuously lear
• Up to 5 years of customer facing experience
• Fluency in German and English is a must, any other language an asset

ECS drives and develops the SAP Private Cloud portfolio to cater to our customers’ needs and operates most of the RISE with SAP private cloud landscapes and the BWs for Business Data Cloud operated by ECS.

The Cloud Architects & Advisors are a group of highly motivated and customer focused people, which validate the technical feasibility of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and BDC deals during the presales phase and are the trusted advisor post signature. This is crucial to ensure all customers get landscapes that match their requirements and to drive the customer adoption of SAP’s cloud offering.
